During the Christmas Season, the streets of Williamsburg were filled

with the merry sounds of carolers. Festive Villagers going door to door, carrying

candles and wassail would delight their neighbors who often joined in

the merriment. The tunes were always followed by a blessing on the house.

Williamsburg Wassail was a mixture of ale or hard cider whipped

to a froth, combined with sugar, spices and roasted crab apples floating on top.
