#266 "In the Meadow" Wool Appliqué Pattern

FOURTH In Our Olde Bread Board Collection!

The inspiration for our new design is taken from the Favorite Winter Song "Winter Wonderland". "In the meadow we can build a snowman...."

Did you know the history of the song "Winter Wonderland", written in 1934 by Dick Smith?
Mr. Smith, a native of Honesdale, Pennsylvania, was inspired to write this song after looking out his window at Hinsdale's Central Park. He was in the West Mountain Sanitarium, being treated for tuberculosis, better known then as consumption. He was dreaming of what it will be like when he was finally released from the hospital and able to experience the "Winter Wonderland" again for himself!

This pattern features TWO original vintage designs! The first is of two little boys building a snowman ...in the meadow. The second design features a young girl all bundled up ready to skate!

You can change your wool appliqué for the seasons!
